We are a leading, nationally recognized food science and testing company. We have an immediate need for a Lab Manager. Skills required: Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, Pathology.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the supervision of laboratory operations (microbiological and chemical techniques, quality control, interpretation of results)
- Participate in laboratory scheduling
- Ensure that aseptic/microbiological and sound chemical techniques are applied correctly
- Participate directly in quality control procedures and documentation to support compliance timeliness and compliance with ISO 17025 guidelines
- Review and visually audit laboratory staff to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, advanced degree preferred!
- 2+ years of experience in a:
- microbiological or chemical testing environment
- commercial food-testing laboratory OR other industrial experience (non-academic)
- management/supervisory role.
